The Teal Bucket

All Turn And Leave Silently

August 7, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I don’t understand

once again

I know it’s inevitable

But it’s the indiscriminate that punctures

this sorrow’s heart

Young and alive yesterday

A face full of smile

Is the snapshot that fills my vision

But now it’s crisp around the edges

Haunting a hundred flooded feelings

Do You believe, I’ve been asked

And I want to scream

No, Never!

Til tempered tragedy

Comes covered by summer snow

And the season’s squall

No longer touches all

But my fingers are wet

And they cannot be dried

Until one day

I follow in your footsteps

Peace be with you
