The Teal Bucket

And So It Begins Again

August 10, 2008 · 2 Comments

And so I sit in this place you brought me

Though I did not wish to go there.

And I find the comfort I once used to know

Though I never thought I would revisit.

And I give myself away to the vision

Though my sight remains obscured.

And I learn that the circle continues onward

Though I thought it was forever broken.

And I experience the joy of creation again

Though the pain runs incredibly deep.

And I lose myself in the passion that I own

Though the price may be too high for you.

And always and forever the ghost’s echo cries

Though no one else can hear.

And so my sensitivity is high,

Yet my resilience is reborn;

And now I call to the shadow,

Yet the yesterday is gone;

And I plan and I prevail,

Yet I lay in defeat;

And I pledge an hour,

Yet the day is done;

And I suffer,

Yet I long;

And I,

Though you.
